The arrival of a new baby is a time of great excitement and becoming a parent can be one of the happiest moments of your life. Sometimes though, no matter how prepared you are, you can experience a few problems which make the experience a little more difficult than anticipated. Common problems can include tiredness, dealing with colic and excessive crying, post-natal depression and changes to your relationship with your partner, peers and family.

A Problem Shared was set up by Cry-sis and Colief Infant Drops in 2007 to encourage parents to share their problems with other parents and seek help, as the important thing to remember is you are not alone – these problems are very common, and there are plenty of solutions to help you enjoy the experience of being a parent.

The Problem Shared site is packed with expert advice and tips on what to expect during the first few months of your baby’s life, especially when it comes to coping with crying babies.
